FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF PASCO PROMOTES MIKE MASHKE TO CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER AND CHIEF CREDIT OFFICER
Mashke will lead efforts to generate new non-interest income and will oversee payments and credit.
DADE CITY, FLORIDA (July 21, 2023) – First National Bank of Pasco (“FNB”)—a community bank that is committed to making banking more accessible and convenient to its customers through technological innovation (fintech)—announced the promotion of Mike Mashke to Senior Executive Vice President – Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Credit Officer. Mashke was previously Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer of FNB.
In his new position, Mashke will fill two preeminent roles on the Executive Management Team. As Chief Revenue Officer, he will be responsible for generating new non-interest income sources for the bank and for creating a Specialty Banking Division. Specialty Banking will incorporate the newly created Payments Division, which includes sponsoring FSP/ISOs (wholesalers) with FNB’s Visa, Mastercard, and Discover BINs, in addition to FedNOW and other payment rails like high-volume ACH. Additionally, Mashke will oversee the Cannabis Banking new client onboarding as well as sponsoring low-risk fintech solution providers. This role also encompasses the direction of all marketing-related activities for the bank.
In the role of Chief Credit Officer, Mashke will manage FNB’s credit team, who oversees all credit functions of the bank. This involves the backroom functions of underwriting, construction loan management, portfolio management, collections, and loan operations. Previously, Mashke had overseen commercial loan production and the Specialty Banking Division, including fintech sponsorships, and the marketing function. He pioneered the cannabis banking program, providing a wide range of financial solutions for this complex industry.
Prior to joining FNB in 2015, Mashke served several banks in the areas of commercial loan production and relationship management going back to 1981, including Barnett Bank, Pilot Bank (formerly The Terrace Bank of Florida), Mercantile Bank, NorthStar Bank, and IBERIABANK. Mashke is also known for performing as the mascot for various professional sports teams, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL), the Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL), the Tampa Bay Storm (AFL), and the University of South Florida (NCAA, D1). Mashke holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of South Florida and a Graduate School of Banking diploma from the University of Colorado Boulder. He currently resides with his wife and three children in Dade City, Florida.
